How to Setup Auto Login on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 in a few easy steps
Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 allow you to set up auto login in a few easy steps. First with the hotkey of Windows key+R open the run command box and type in netplwiz, then click on ‘OK’.
It should look like the below:
You will now see the User Account window. From here you must un-check the ‘Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer’.
Now for setting up the auto login from this point, you can do it in 2 ways. The easy and straight forwards way and the complex and adventuress way, which is also dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing.
So first the easy way after you click ‘OK’ you will be shown the below window.
Type and retype the account password in other two empty boxes and then click OK. If you want to change the user for autologin then you can just change the user name.
That’s it your all done.
