    Benefits

For many the nice large 17.3 inch screen on the HP Envy 17-U108CA is going to be its biggest asset and what tops it of is unlike most large screened models HP has found a way to also include touchscreen technology so users of larger devices don’t get left out of the fun.

HP didn’t just stop and creating a laptop with a big screen but also one with big time performance. By packing in the powerful Intel Core i7 processor along with not 8 but 16 GB of memory this unit will easily blow the tires off of any mid range laptop on the market.

4 USB 3.0 ports is just about unheard of with any new laptop but that is exactly what you will find here making it another example of how this in ways can feel like a portable desktop due to all the benefits included.

    Downsides

No 17.3 inch laptop discussion can be finished without talking about portability and answering the question on just how portable it can be. Unfortunately when compared to more common sized laptops the answer is not very as it weighs 3.06 KG making it less then ideal for any amount of travelling.

Just imagine how quick this device could be with an SSD or even a hybrid option like some others have to talk advantage of the superior speeds. Instead you will have to settle with a slower SATA that may not have the speeds but luckily does provide a full 1 TB of space still giving you plenty of storage.

    Verdict

Large display lovers will absolutely fall for the HP Envy 17-U108CA as it is big on power and just about everything else and the icing on the top is touchscreen technology. If your not in the market for something small and compact and instead want a bigger laptop that is ready to really get to work then this is one you should highly consider.
